We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. Critiques
Your method of emphasizing detail enchants me, as it displays the depth of detail a suit of armor begs for, accurately portrays your vision, and describes neatly the overall impact of the equipment on a (perhaps preexisting?) figure. These two especially, although the rest of this series echoes that method in a less meticulous way.
Furthermore, the blend of styles incorporated in to these designs (all of them, 1-5) makes a delightful hodgepodge of culture that is tangible and yet fantastical as well. It provides an underlying, /almost/ psychological, connection with this order of knights that still belongs inimitably to their own world and their own individual sense of style -- the sort of thing that propels a good story in to a sensation.
Gorgeous rendering, genius presentation, excellent and thoughtful work. Thank you for sharing!
